This week's episode is featuring Veta Chan, a Hongkonger now based in Vancouver that is a multimedia producer, previously a journalist that covered the 2019 Hong Kong Protests.
In this conversation, we got into Veta's background growing up in Hong Kong attending International School which made her feel "third-cultured", her experience finding her Hong Konger identity again as a result of the 2019 Hong Kong Protests, covering the Hong Kong Protests, how she got into journalism and content creating, her experience now being a new Diaspora Hongkonger after moving to Vancouver in late 2021.
